Introduction
My story starts back in November 2007 when I miscarried at 9 weeks. I blogged my journey through loss, through the ups and downs of a new pregnancy and everything in between. To read my story of loss and life, click here:
My sweet daughter, Avery, was born on September 25, 2008. As her birth marked a new chapter in our lives, I felt it was time to close the last one and start fresh. I decided she needed her very own blog, separate from my experiences that came before her. And instead of writing this for her, I've chosen to write it to her.

I found your blogs on one of the thebump.com boards. I read your loss & life blog starting from the beginning, reading all the way through. I know you don't know me but I thoroughly enjoyed reading your story as I just lost my first baby this week. I am very sorry about your first loss but am so happy that you now have a gorgeous healthy daughter. I'm choosing to be optimistic about my family's future and hope to have a similar story in the near future. As for the post where someone said you wouldn't be a good mother, they obviously have no clue what they are talking about! Reading your story shows that you would be a wonderful mother and seeing the videos of you with your daughter confirms that fact even further. By the way, you have the sweetest laugh!
